North Florida Instructor Training Seminar

The North Florida Instructor Training Seminar will include review of the Cuong Nhu curriculum, a ceremony for GMQ, and three training sessions. This training is for Black Belts and up only.


10-11:45 pm- Review of CN Curriculum/ Terminology (interactive as well as taking notes, so bring your journal and questions)

11:45- 12:00 pm- Stripe Burning Ceremony for GMQ

12:00 pm- 1:00 pm- Lunch Break (everyone is on their own)

1:00- 1:55 pm- SESSION 1

Option 3- Spear - Senseis Mark B. and Alex

Option 4 - Tonfa 1 - Master Jessica

2:00- 2:55 pm- SESSION 2

Option 1- Double Tambo 1- Masters Donald and Denise

Option 2- Nhu 2 - Masters Allen and Allyson

Option 3- Tambo 3 - Senseis Alex and Rebecca

Option 4 - Double Tambo 3 - Master Darius

3:00- 3:55 pm- SESSION 3

Option 3- Nhu 1 - Master Kirk and Sensei Tanner

Option 4- Candidates getting ready for testing perform their katas for feedback in front of masters!

At any time, if there is a Yondan or Godan kata you would like to review, feel free to ask any available instructor to review that kata wherever space is available.

4:00- 4:15 pm- Closing remarks

4:15 pm- Head over to Jessica’s place for a “Celebration of GMQ, Family, and Friends”
